I’m Heather Newman, a health coach committed to helping nurses break free from burnout and reclaim their energy—without guilt.
For years, I worked long hours, managed countless personal responsibilities, worked full-time, and was always pursuing higher education. I thought that pushing through exhaustion was just part of life—until the weight of overwork, emotional over-investment, and self-sacrifice started catching up with me. I felt drained, disconnected, and wondered how long I could keep going.
Burnout forced me to step back and reevaluate. I realized that caring deeply doesn’t mean giving endlessly and that boundaries aren’t a barrier to compassion—they sustain it. Through my own healing, I learned practical, sustainable strategies to manage stress, protect my energy, and create balance.

"Heather's services were extremely helpful! Heather was assigned as my wellness coach through my employer. During our sessions she suggested some ways in which to reduce my anxiety and manage it when I felt it was coming on. These suggestions included mindfulness meditation, tapping for anxiety, exercise and healthy eating. Through her coaching I have been able to reduce and control my anxiety allowing me to better deal with stressful situations. I am now making mindfulness meditation and exercise a regular routine in my life as I realize the value and importance of these practices in daily life. By incorporating these practices in my life I am once again sleeping without the use of medication. I highly recommend her for wellness coaching
